  • Staff Attorneys (Full-time Position) - Columbia & Conway - SCLS seeks a full-time staff attorneyfor its Florence office. The position requires the attorney to provide a wide range of civil litigation to low-income individuals and families residing in South Carolina through extended and limited legal services. Civil litigation will primarily be in the areas of consumer, housing and family law, though the attorney may work in other priority areas of law depending on client needs. Litigation experience in these areas, plus experience with a broad range of other advocacy tools and community education, is strongly preferred.
     
  • VOCA Paralegal (Full-time Position) - Rock Hill - SCLS seeks a full-time paralegal for its Rock Hill office. The position requires paralegal work of varying scope and complexity to assist domestic violence victims in obtaining Orders of Protection. The position will require paralegal to conduct intake and do casework that will assist attorneys in increasing their case capacity. Participation in outreach activities is required along with other related administrative support work. The position may also require some evening and/or weekend work as well as statewide travel.
